2. Scope and principles

This notice explains how personal data are processed when you visit digital-twin.report, contact Planimeter Kft., book a meeting, or use other website functions. We process personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently, only for specified purposes, and limit processing to data that are necessary for those purposes.

Please do not submit health data, sensitive personal data or other special-category personal data through general website contact or booking forms unless this has been specifically requested under an appropriate project arrangement.

3. Website visits and technical logs

When you visit the website, technical information may be generated automatically, such as IP address, date and time of access, duration of the visit, browser type, operating system and pages requested.

Purpose: operating the website, maintaining security, detecting malicious activity, improving usability and producing technical or statistical information.

Legal basis: Planimeter Kft.’s legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Identifiable technical log data are retained only for the period necessary for these purposes and, following the approach used in Planimeter’s existing notice, no longer than 8 days unless longer retention is required for a security incident or legal obligation.

4. Contact enquiries

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or a website form, we may process your name, e-mail address, telephone number, company or role if supplied, the subject of the enquiry, and any personal data included in your message.

Purpose: identifying you, responding to your enquiry and providing the information requested. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), as reflected in Planimeter’s existing website notice. Data are retained until consent is withdrawn or the communication is no longer required, unless another legal basis requires longer retention.

5. Meeting / appointment booking

If you use the appointment-booking function, we may process the information you provide to arrange the meeting, such as name, e-mail address, telephone number, organisation, selected time and any message or notes submitted with the booking.

Purpose: arranging and managing the requested meeting. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). If an external booking provider is used, that provider may process the data necessary to operate the booking service.

6. Newsletter and marketing communications

If a newsletter subscription is offered on digital-twin.report, Planimeter Kft. may process the subscriber’s name and e-mail address for the purpose of sending requested news, invitations or promotional information.

Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in the message or by contacting info@planimeter.net. Data used solely for the newsletter are retained until consent is withdrawn.

7. Cookies and analytics

The website may use cookies or similar technologies for necessary website functions, preferences, statistical measurement and, where enabled, marketing purposes. Non-essential cookies are used only after consent has been given through the cookie preference mechanism.
